Description
Skimcoat Primer EBH – 401mortar is the ready mix dry cementitious mortar using before plastering on AAC wall Main components of EBH – 401 mortar include cement, fine sand, and general-purpose additives.
Mortar products are manufactured on an industrial scale according to European standards, adhere to strictly monitoring processes to ensure product quality, and limit risk of mixing at work.
Application:
Skimcoat Primer EBH – 401mortar is a specialized product line that is compatible with and suitable for the AAC wall. The skimcoat layer is applied or rolled thinly onto the surface of AAC wall before performing the plastering work with regular sand cement mortar.
The additive component in mortar EBH-401 prevents the phenomenon of dehydration of the sand and cement plastering layer due to AAC block absorbing water, making AAC lightweight concrete wall plastering work simple, familiar, and similar to traditional bricks.
Skimcoat Primer EBH – 401 mortar overcomes phenomenon incompatibility when applies directly sand-cement mortar on the surface of AAC block wall, limit cracking and blistering, sure for aesthetic appeal.
Packing Method:
EBH-401 mortar is packed in a moisture-proof paper bag, 25kg per bag to facilitate transportation, storage, and use.

Mixing the mortar according to the water ratio indicated on the package, stir the mortar powder with a paddle (can use a larger mixer).
The plastering plan using Primer EBH-401 skimcoat mortar combined with the conventional sand and cement mortar is similar to the traditional construction method.
Primer EBH-401 skimcoat mortar is applied or rolled thinly onto the surface of AAC wall before performing the plastering work with regular sand cement mortar.

Notices:
- Spraying machine on the wall surface is not recommended because of difficulty to control the uniformity of the lining surface.
- Waiting time for plastering sand cement mortar is from 6 to 12 hours after applying Primer Skimcoat EBH-401mortar
USE AND STORAGE TIME
Using mortar after mixing about 120 minutes and depends on weather conditions (temperature, wind, humidity ...). Mix again after 30 minutes of non-use.
The recommended shelf life of 6 months after from the date of manufacture is indicated on the package, provided that the product is stored in a dry, cool and intact packaging. Do not stack more than 10 bags.
SAFETY
The product contains cement and is alkaline, which may cause irritation in contact with the body. Gloves and goggles should be used when applying the product to minimize direct contact with skin.

EBLOCK mortar products when delivered to the site are considered a semi-finished product. We recommend that the mixing and installtion at the site comply with the specifications specified on the packaging and construction documentation.
