Frequently asked questions
How many types of unburnt bricks in Vietnam currently have?
In Vietnam, there are 3 types of unburnt bricks:
Extreme concrete bricks:
Main ingredients: cement, rocks and additives.
Production technology: Manual, low productivity, slow and unstable supply capacity due to the weather dependence on the weather so that the product has enough intensity.
In the past, the aggregate concrete brick was the most popular type of unburnt bricks used in Vietnam, but this material is currently being replaced quickly due to poor temperature, strong water absorption and very heavy volume, causing disadvantages during transportation and construction, especially high -rise buildings.
Foam concrete bricks:
Main ingredients: cement, fly ash, foaming agent and additives.
Production technology: Handicraft, slow and unstable supply ability due to weather dependence.
This material is in addition to light weight and relatively good insulation, there is no outstanding advantage, used by few works.
Aerated concrete tiles AAC:
Main ingredients: sand, lime, cement, aluminum powder.
Production technology: Modern, closed, environmentally friendly aerated technology, ensuring uniform quality stability, less dependent on the weather, so it is capable of providing fast in just 2-5 days.
AAC bricks are extremely lightweight unburnt materials with many outstanding advantages, suitable for many types of climatic conditions, so it is increasingly used by many works. This is also a widely used material in developed countries around the world such as the United States, Australia, Europe, China, Taiwan, Singapore …
Is the price of lightweight concrete bricks AAC EBLOCK higher than baked clay bricks?
AAC EBLOCK lightweight concrete bricks are manufactured on modern technology lines from Europe, meeting many domestic and international quality standards, in addition, AAC lightweight concrete bricks are always used for high -end buildings, so it is impossible to compare prices with common baked bricks.
However, if this type of AAC tiles are included right from the design stage, the project will save a lot of costs such as: reducing the cost of foundation structure, column, beam, shortening construction time. In addition, with outstanding soundproofing and thermal insulation, AAC brick walls will bring energy efficiency during use and bring the quality of the building to a new level.
Is AAC EBLOCK bricks “green”?
EBLOCK bricks manufactured using aerated aerated technology are recognized by the Green Building Council – Green Building Council of the world because of its low energy consumption in the production and use process. In addition, AAC EBLOCK uses non -toxic materials, does not cause the loss of arable land and the closed production process does not pollute the environment such as baked bricks, so the Government encourages the use of replacement of terracotta brick materials that are harmful to the environment.
Θ You know: In Vietnam alone, annual baked clay bricks cost 50 – 70 million m³ of land, equivalent to about 3,000 hectares of agricultural land, consuming 6 billion tons of coal and discharged into the environment about 23 billion tons of CO2.
What technology is AAC EBLOCK?
AAC EBLOCK bricks are manufactured using Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC). This technology was invented by a Swedish engineer and architect in the 1920s. With many outstanding advantages, AAC bricks quickly spread and widely used worldwide. Europe has been popularly used for nearly 100 years, the Middle East, China, India for more than 50 years, Australia America for more than 40 years. Particularly Vietnam and many Southeast Asian countries have only been introduced in the past 20 years but developed very quickly, were encouraged by the Government to replace harmful terracotta brick materials to the environment.
What material does AAC EBLOCK bricks produce from raw materials?
AAC EBLOCK tiles are manufactured from non -toxic materials such as sand, cement, lime, plaster, aluminum powder.
How light is AAC EBLOCK?
With a dried volume of only 460-700 kg/m³, EBLOCK AREA AREA AREA ARACE SURNAL ARACE FROM 1/2 to 1/3 compared to traditional terracotta bricks and only ¼ of the weight of normal concrete bricks. The main reason is that the bubbles structure accounts for 80% of the entire structure inside the brick.
This is an outstanding feature that saves the amount of material as frame and pile foundation, as well as helping to transport and construct easily.
How is AAC Elock brick wall resistant?
AAC EBLOCK -mild concrete brick walls can tolerate up to 1200 ° C of conventional fires and do not change the texture when suddenly sprayed with cold water. The test results show that the wall made of EBLock lightweight concrete bricks to ensure a minimum of 4 hours in the fire, more than twice as much as traditional red bricks. In particular, when burnt does not cause smoke or toxic gases that are dangerous.
Does AAC EBLock brick wall be absorbed?
Like most wall -building bricks on the market, AAC EBLOCK tiles are often sucked with water, and are required to treat waterproofing when built in humid areas such as outer walls, toilets.
However, understanding this demand, we produce a lightweight concrete bricks AAC EBLOCK waterproofing full -use for low -humid wall areas. In addition, we recommend using specialized mortar and plaster for the AAC of EBLOCK to ensure the highest effect for the wall surface.
Is the construction of AAC EBLOCK brick wall simple?
The construction of AAC EBLOCK brick walls is quite simple. You can refer to the detailed construction guide here.
